One of the most recent fuel innovations in the Oilheat industry is Bioheat - a green, clean alternative fuel that is good for the environment. Bioheat is heating oil blended with soybean oil or other vegetable oils to create a renewable and non-toxic fuel for home heating.

The National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) has found that a Bioheat blend of 80% low-sulfur heating oil and 20% soybean oil (called B20) reduced sulfur oxide emissions by as much as 80% or more, nitrogen oxide emissions by about 20%, and carbon dioxide emissions by 20%.
