According to information provided by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Underground Storage Tanks (BUSTR), residential underground heating oil tanks smaller than 1,100 gallons and used for heating on the premises are exempted from BUSTR regulations.
